Today, I’m thrilled to share some incredible news with whoever is reading this blog. Our family is growing! My wife and I are expecting a baby, and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this new chapter of our lives.
This journey has already been filled with joy, anticipation, and a little bit of nervousness—all the emotions you’d expect when preparing to welcome a new life into this world. After confirming the pregnancy with five tests, yea, a doctor visit, yup, and an ultrasound, right, we felt ready to share the news. Just before Christmas, we revealed the surprise to my mother with a fun, winning lottery ticket that said, “We’re having a baby.” She couldn’t believe it! It was such a special moment, one we’ll treasure forever.
While I’m already saying it’s a boy, only God knows. We’re putting our trust in His plan and embracing the mystery of this exciting time. Meanwhile, my wife has been feeling the full effects of pregnancy, as she’s been sick since the middle of December. Even through the challenges, we’re filled with gratitude and excitement for what’s to come.
Yesterday I took her to the emergency room to get fluids. God willing she will get through this sickness time better going forward.
Now for those of you who have followed along as I’ve shared stories about reselling, maintenance work, and parenting my daughter, this feels like a natural moment to bring you into another part of our lives. This new addition to our family will undoubtedly inspire more reflections and stories to share in the months and years ahead.
