A DAY OF APPOINTMENtS, SOURCING, AND SURPRISES!

A

Yesterday, my wife and I made a trip to Yukon, Oklahoma, for her appointment at Mercy Hospital, where she needed another CT scan. We’re set to receive the results on Friday, and while the waiting is never easy, we’re hopeful for good news.

After the appointment, we decided to have lunch at IHOP—a nice way to relax and recharge before tackling the rest of the day. From there, we headed to two Goodwill stores to source items for my eBay store, Parishable Store. As always, the thrill of the hunt didn’t disappoint, and we were excited about the treasures we found.

In the middle of our sourcing, we received an unexpected message from my daughter’s cheer coach: practice had been canceled. Panic set in for a moment as we realized we were too far away to pick her up. Thankfully, my sister came to the rescue, agreeing to pick up my daughter. A huge thank-you to her for stepping in and saving the day!

With the stress behind us, we continued sourcing and came across hundreds of dollars’ worth of items to sell. It was a successful outing that added some great inventory to my eBay store.

When we got home, I discovered a long-awaited order from Kenetik had finally arrived. I had ordered it on November 3rd from Amazon, and it didn’t show up until December 4th! To my surprise, the cans were dented and falling out of the case, but none had busted open—a small relief. Curious to try it, I opened one even though it wasn’t chilled. Let’s just say it was very, very sour!

After dealing with the Kenetik order, I sorted through our Goodwill haul and got straight to work listing a few items on eBay. By the end of the day, I felt accomplished and grateful for the productivity. It was a long day, but one that left me feeling fulfilled and ready for whatever comes next.

Here’s to more adventures, successful sourcing trips, and, hopefully, good news on Friday!
